So I got a tweet from one of you yesterday that just thrilled me to know in.

It's very funny. A blast from the past here when it comes to Dog Nation daily. I'll explain more about this coming up here in a moment. We have a chance and excuse today to go back and relive. One of the really fun moments from this show to actually happen during the summer. We're going to do that here coming up in a couple of minutes. There's also some good recruiting news to get to today, too.

Let me begin, though, with this.

You know, yesterday we spent a ton of time on the show, as we would need to, and any show would,

reflecting on how the landscape around Georgia is evolving in light of what you now know as the House versus NCAA settlement and the new

revenue sharing payments and the way in which Georgia will try to navigate all of that. Obviously,

these are very challenging times coming up. We talked about this on

yesterday's show. And while that's necessary, and to me, kind of interesting, because smart people

figuring out complicated problems is sort of one of the most important sort of through lines,

narratively speaking, when it comes to sports overall. it is not admittedly the games on the field.

We still have to wait several weeks for the actual games on the field.

And in comparison, while some of the stuff outside the white lines, I would say it's culturally

important. It's certainly directionally important

because it tells us which way the sport is moving. All of that is important to discuss,

and therefore we're not going to shy away from it. It is not as fun as Georgia play so-and-so,
