We've talked this week, and we've talked now for quite some time that

college football fans have gotten used to just sort of enduring a lot of change and sometimes

it seems like that change has sort of changed for the worst and perhaps sometimes it possibly is

but every now and then there can be a pleasant surprise change actually is a little bit for the better and you

didn't necessarily anticipate it but it kind of worked out in your favor I'm going to tell you

here coming up while we may be looking at an example of that here in college football right now

and I want to use some news from yesterday to help us get there let Let me start, though, with just sort of the straightforward facts about this.

We had kind of an interesting flurry of announcements from Georgia recruits last night,

committed to Georgia, and yet ultimately deciding to stick with Georgia,

and essentially kind of shut down their recruitment.

I'm going to show you this graphic on the screen here for a moment. All of this coming from y'all know Hayes Fawcett is working for

the national website on three. He gives us first from Brady Markezy. That's the wide receiver from

Cartersville. Recruitment shut down. You get Jordan Smith, defensive back from Houston County,

recruitment shut down. You get Justice Fitzpat defensive back from Houston County, recruitment shut down.

You get Justice Fitzpatrick, cornerback, obviously St. Thomas Aquinas High School down in South

Florida, one of the top prospects in the nation, top cornerback prospects in the nation.

Recruitment shut down.
