Good morning, Dog Nation. I'm Brandon Adams, and this is Dog Nation Daily, the daily podcast for Georgia Bulldogs fans, presented by Mary Weather and Tharp. A little bit different type of thing for us today. I'm flying a little bit blind, a little bit of an audio issue here today. But you know what? I think it's going to be all good and fine. I think we're going to roll through here and have a great show. We got Terrence Edwards coming up later on,

assuming I can hear Terrence. We'll have a good conversation coming up with him. I will tell you,

even before you have, you know, listen every now and then you get some gremlins in the system or

something like that.

Even before that, I have to admit that I woke up in a little bit of a mood today because I would say that there are a couple of very interesting things out there, you know, kind of as it relates to Georgia, what I sort of feel like are kind of unfair narratives.

And at least in one respect, Kirby Smart is, I think, albeit subtly and politely, pushing back against one of these.

And in another case, we're going to kind of help sort of do that for Kirby here a little bit too. You know, yesterday is one of those, I think, really fun days. It happens every year, and this is not a commercial, but I will tell you, I have been there before. I think this may be the last year that region sponsors it all that don't 100% know. It's the PGA Tour Champions event. We kind of think of this as the senior tour. They now call it the PGA Tour Champions event that takes place in Birmingham, Alabama every year. They have the

celebrity pro-am on the Wednesday before that begins. And it's usually a lot of famous SEC types,

a lot of the football coaches, ex-coaches, of course, now like Nick Saban, Charles

Barclay is usually there, fairly significant media presence. I've been lucky enough to be a part

of it before. One of the most fun events you can go to, A, the PGA Tour Champions guys, you know,

the sort of senior tour type golfers, they're always really fun to be around. They like to play

it up with the crowd and things like that. I would say that's a pretty fun brand of golf and a sporting event. And in general, I kind of enjoy.

But the point is, every year they do this with the coaches being there. Kirby's always there. He has a

close relationship with a region's bank. And we had talked about this the other day, is that, well, when Paul Feinbaum gets a chance

to sit down with Kirby Smart at this event, you know, given the fact that he does that every year,

what we had said a few weeks ago, a month or so ago on the show was, it'll be very interesting

to hear kind of just how much
