We're trying to be really careful here today because I'm a little bit self-aware.

Obviously, we are a pro-Georgia show in yesterday, and really a lot of the last few days, we've spent several days, talking about the possibility that five-star offensive tackle Jackson, Cantwell, would land at Georgia.

In fact, yesterday, even with some of the early chatter that Cantwell was likely being

pulled back towards Miami, I told you in the show that I'm not quite so sure I fully buy end all

of that. Even yesterday during the show, based on some of what I was hearing, I still sort of thought

that Georgia had a pretty good chance of winning this recruiting battle. Alas, it did not work out that way.

And the thing I'm sort of self-aware about is,

is I don't want this whole thing today to kind of come across as sour grapes.

It should not have to be said, but I'll say it out loud anyway.

I would love for Cantwell to have come to Georgia.

And I would have loved for Georgia and Jackson

Cantwell to come to some sort of financial agreement that would have allowed, you know,

Jackson end up at UGA. This is a player. We obviously wouldn't have not spent so much time

to talk about the last few days if we did not think he would have potentially been a good fit for Georgia.

It feels like that probably needs to be said. I don't want any of this to be construed as somehow sour grapes of, well, now that he didn't come to U.G. We're going to trash the player. We're not going to trash. I don't know that we've ever trashed any player around here. Don't plan on starting now. But all of that said, I do think we need to talk a little bit about some of the stuff

that Jackson Can't well had to say yesterday after he chose Miami over Georgia.

Because a lot of these words drew a pretty strong reaction from Georgia fans. And it wasn't, you know, negative about

Jackson. Boy, it raises a lot of questions about what really is going on with a lot of these

recruits and how much of this do we have a right to know. And listen, I'm going to give credit to my
