If you're listening podcasts, we are at home today. Show may sound slightly different than normal. This is a one-day

thing for us. Brand new studio journey begins on Monday. All of that we've kind of talked about. So

let's instead kind of get into what matters here today. Now, I realize on every show,

whether I'm broadcasting from our normal studio or broadcasting here from home, I just sort of talk and talk and talk and talk.

And I do understand that. I'm kind of a robot. You wind me up and I'll just keep brought on going.

I say so many words over the course of a show, over the course of a week, frankly, over the course of what feels like a lifetime doing the show, that perhaps, and as much as it pains me to admit, maybe you haven't been always listening as

attentively to every single one of those words. I am humble enough to admit that maybe some of

this perhaps has gone in one ear and out the other. Totally understand that. That's just life.

That's just human nature. So with that in mind, let me say this to begin things here today.

I am going to lead into, over the course of the next few minutes, up to one question that I think needs to be asked about Kirby Smart, about Georgia football, the role that NIL plays for this program and this sport moving forward. And I do think this is an

important question. So I'm sort of sort of giving you the last page of the book to begin the

show here today. So stick with me for a couple of minutes. And I want to see if I can get us all

to what I think is a pretty important place for us to go here today. But to get there, I need to tell you

this, that, and we see this happen every now and then. Kirby Smart sort of finds himself as the

subject of some criticism today. Now, if you're a leader of men and you're in the spotlight,

criticism is just sort of a natural thing. Teddy Roosevelt,

man in the arena speech, things of that nature. You sort of already know that just sort of comes

with the territory. But there is a specific brand of criticism. It sort of feels like Kirby Smart
