Elon Musk says that something called Blindsight is next.

So fairly soon, the next thing they're going to take on is to see if they can make a blind person able to see and you really want to get freaked out?

It includes blind people who have never seen, who have never had sight, and somehow they think they can read, they can give sight to somebody who's never had it by presumably putting the sight signals directly into the brain somehow.

I don't know the details, but just think about the fact that Elon Musk is out there putting chips and brains and rockets in space and building

electric cars.
