Since you've spoken of Bravo's as the Err City, I must now urge all here to acquire

Italo Colvino's singular novella slash book of poetry, Invisible Cities,

in which Marco Polo entertains Genghis Khan with stories of the many cities he has seen.

They are all, perhaps, his home. Venice, city of cities.

And I will add, if you have the chance, Venice is one of the few places on Earth that lives up to its own hype.
