The thing is like reading those, anybody you would actually read those, even if you are

like kind of hip to a lot of the darker sides of, well, not only American upper class, but

people do when they get into the cult, this stuff is difficult to believe.

Sure. It's simply, some of the stuff is physically impossible and some of it seems logistically

improbable. And so I was like, well, fuck, I guess maybe it is like a kind of crazy,

like somebody who, you know, maybe they're mentally ill or maybe, you know, maybe this is a

confluence of stuff that they're kind of in this memory and half memory, whatever. But it's,

it's kind of a little hard to take it seriously until we read another document.

Yeah, there's another statement by a separate victim, another victim. Yeah. That wasn't, I guess,

wasn't part of the charges that were brought against David Hamlin. Yeah. But who had contacted

investigators when Hamlin was arrested and said, you know, I had, I have a history with this guy

and I'd like to offer some testimony kind of in support of this other case. Yes, yeah, exactly.

And so the person whose whose timeline we're going to kind of be going through here and whose

relationship to this case, you know, will become clear, we're going to use a pseudonym for him.

Yeah. The pseudonym of Brad. This person has actually come forward and given a couple of media

interviews, neither of which has been released in full or at length. There's really only about

two minutes, two odd minutes of him talking anywhere on two different sources.

But I got to say reading, reading through this timeline and reading this guy's testimony,

we won't be reading much of it verbatim will be sort of summarizing a lot of it. It really kind of

gave me a different view of this case and a definitely a different view of David Hamlin's

his daughter whose victim statement it is of her account of what happened. Yeah. And just to be
