Angeline Eileen Pete was born on December 5, 1982 at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Her mother, Molly Dixon, was only 16 years old at the time of Angeline's birth.

So, the two of them ended up living with Angeline's grandmother, Eileen Nelson.

And they lived on the Quatsino First Nations Reserve.

According to sources, Angeline's father was violent towards Molly during their brief relationship.
