| 1:07.2 | But before we dive into it, I want to talk about something that is just bugging me. And it's a piece that I read recently in the New York Times. |

| 1:37.4 | And this story resonated with me, I think, because it's not the first time that I have seen research along these lines. |

| 1:51.0 | I believe it was 19% less, and I've seen it through the years. |
| 1:56.3 | And wage inequality is one of those things that you hope can be explained away. |
| 2:05.3 | You hope that as you look deeper into it, perhaps it's that women are choosing careers that don't pay as well as men or opting for |
| 2:18.4 | greater flexibility or figuring out that they want to take a different path for personal reasons. |
| 2:28.0 | But when it's this much of an affront, when it just stares you in the face with the data, you can't turn away. |
| 2:37.0 | Because essentially what it's saying is same work, same hours, same title, same degree, less money, and it simply won't do anymore. |
