Oh wait, yeah, I know I heard of it. It's on the Bible.

All right.

But we're going to be talking with Beverly Gaventa. She's a professor of New Testament at Baylor University.

And she was also a Princeton theological seminary for many years before that.

She's written a bunch of books because she's a scholar and a very good one.

Commentaries on the book of Acts and first and second Thessalonians.

Her most recent book is one I'm actually very excited about.

And this is why I'm really happy to have her on the podcast.

It's a title, a book entitled When in Romans.

Get it?

When in Romans an invitation to linger with the gospel according to Paul.

And this is really her sweet spot because her career is a lot about the interpretation of Paul and especially Romans

in looking at the historical context and looking at the theology of Paul.

Because you're paying attention to the historical context.
