So thankful for the work to Kaylee and Cody, Jay, the entire Dog Nation team has been doing and just really, really glad to be back doing it myself here today. Now, obviously, we come back knowing we've got to do the R-R-R-R-R-Tomass stuff, and I promise you, I've got some takes on that here coming up, perhaps takes sure to make everybody mad. But we'll get to that here coming up in just a little bit. If you don't mind, though, since I'm in a good mood,

happy to be back in the chair again, can we do something fun for a moment before we get to the rah-rah time of stuff? Hopefully you'll allow me to do that, although we'll certainly pay our full due diligence to the topic at hand on the other stuff here coming up in a moment. I've had a of time away, so that's a lot of time to think

about stuff as it relates to Georgia football. And one of the things that I was thinking about, I

believe is SEC Media Days the other day that sort of caused me to think about this. If you really

kind of pay attention to what might be the most significant moment in the Kirby Smart era today.

You may have different answers, and perhaps your answer is more right than mine,

but certainly one of the things you would have to very strongly consider there

as perhaps the most significant thing to happen in the Kirby Smart era is,

is that during a season, Georgia made a transition

at quarterback from J.T. Daniels, two Stetson Bennett, and in the midst of doing that, went on to

win two national championships. And Georgia, you know, made that look so easy that you could almost

forget that it was actually far more difficult, probably in reality, than it appears to be in retrospect.

In fact, some of the fan tension around that that you'll remember from that time probably speaks to just how challenging that was.

Because if you want to go back to a previous SEC media days, 2021, we were kind of coming under the pandemic at the time,

probably wasn't a fully normal SEC media days. Georgia just sent two players that year. But nonetheless, one of those guys was J.T. Daniels. Daniels was sort of viewed to be the Heisman favorite and, you know, all of the accolades, all of the talk. He was sort of the face of Georgia football at the time, despite the fact that he'd been a transfer and only played a little bit in 2020. He was sort of thought to be the face of Georgia football at the time, but because of some weirdness around some injuries, things like that, around the what, the middleish point of the season, it became obvious that JT just wasn't going to be George's guy. Stetson Bennett became Georgia's guy, and the rest,

of course, was history. In other words, this was an unforeseen circumstance. You never could have

predicted this to be true, but when Georgia was forced to confront it, it had an option ready to deal
