I really, really, really love doing this show.

And, you know, I'm thankful to be able to have it.

Even when I'm away from work,

I sort of miss it. I just like the act of coming on and talking about Georgia football. It's just something that I really enjoy doing. And as we get ready to begin, believe it or not,

our 10th season of covering Georgia football, you know, I'm reminded that there just aren't very many days in which

we haven't done this show. You know, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, usually Memorial Day, usually

the 4th of July. Those are like the holidays that we take off. I think there was one day a couple of

years ago when I was sick. First time I'd been sick the entire time we'd done the show.

And there was like a snow day back in like, say, 2017, I guess, early 2018.

Maybe it would have been.

And that's it in terms of missing the show and not being around.

You know, for the show, we just show up every day.

The joke, what I always say is it's not Dog Nation daily unless you do it every day, and that's kind of what we do.

Many of you are aware, though, that I am about to step away from work for a few days. I had a big event planned, and this is something that I've been talking to my bosses about for like almost a full calendar year of, hey, coming up near the end of the summer, we're

going to be doing some of our family.

It's a little bit different we've ever done before.

And so I would like to kind of leave work and not be a part of the show for a little while,

if you don't mind.
