Summary

Well, the original idea was to have a short episode about the strike that killed al Zawahiri, and to recap the D.C. Circuit's Larabee ruling. But then just before showtime, we learned of the FBI executing a warrant at Mar-a-Lago, not to mention an avalanche of awfully-inflammatory commentary about the significance of this event. Between that and the Mets on a hot streak, we ended up with a lot to discuss! 1:09.5	getting ready to record, news started breaking that the FBI had apparently, quote, rated, unquote, Mar-a-Lago this afternoon and taken out a whole bunch of documents.
1:22.4	By the way, Fox News was complaining that they just took out entire boxes without bothering to go through them.

1:28.2	do you think the FBI just sits there and goes through the documents at the crime scene? Like,
1:33.3	does anyone understand how any of this works? Anyway, as we're recording at what, 830 central time,
1:40.8	aka the top of the eighth inning in the Mets Reds game. There's no confirmation about what
1:48.0	the warrant was based on, but there's a lot of sort of anonymous sourcing that this is related to
1:54.4	the wrongful retention and or destruction of sensitive, if not classified national security documents in violation of a couple of different statutes that make it a crime, even for people who are authorized to have those documents to, you know.
