I am in the podcast studio with one of our Watermark students, Claire Davidson.

Hey y'all. Claire, I'm so glad you're here. You are a student and you're here because it's a Wednesday and Watermark small groups are meeting all over the city of Dallas.

So if you're listening to this on a Wednesday, pray for our

students. And if it's not a Wednesday, you can still pray for them. But today is a Wednesday.

We're reading John 6th. But before we get there, Claire, I want to know a little bit about your

story. But first, what grade are you in? And what are you involved in? So I'm a senior

and I am involved in interning for Watermark. I'm interning for Shoreline. I also interned over the

summer. And then I am also in lead team. Nice. And what's lead team for those who don't know?

Lead team is a place where a bunch of high school students gather

once a month on a Sunday and we are learning how to go out and be leaders and share the gospel.

It's awesome. I actually go to lead team. I'm with Lake Highlands High School. And it's so fun.

I want to know how you came to know and believe the gospel.

So I grew up in a family who went to church.

My parents did get divorced when I was little.

So I was mostly with my mom, but she always took me to church.

So I always had an understanding of who the Lord was, but not until sixth grade when I switched to Watermark and got into a small group,

whereas where I was finally understanding, like, oh, like a relationship with the Lord.

But probably not until I began high school was when I knew, like, oh, I wanted to start walking with the Lord on my own and, like, pursuing him.
