It's called The Tipping Point, It's Very Good Indeed, and we had the tremendous pleasure of talking about it with its creators a couple of months back. We're delighted to welcome Roland Orsabel and Kurt Smith of Tears for Fears to the show.

The seeds of Tears for Fears were sown in Bath Somerset in the mid-70s,

but Roland, who originally hails from Portsmouth,

had been writing songs since he was seven, and Cates discovered

he had the talent for singing at a similarly tender age.

The pair were introduced in their early teens by a mutual acquaintance, and after

impressing Groland by singing along to a Blue Oyster cult song,

Kurt was invited to join his new friend's heavy rock combo as lead singer and later taught himself bass guitar.

Our guests played in several more groups together over the next few years, one of which was the Scar influenced graduate, and they released one album under that guise in 1980, called Acting My Age before disbanding. After briefly flirting with calling themselves the history of headaches,

Roland and Kurt formed Tears for Fears in 1981. The name inspired by the writings of American
