I'm not going to lie, I look forward to this time of year.

You know, I love my job, love being here each and every day.

And yet there's also that kind of week during the summer where me, my wife, my kids, my family, we just sort of sneak away and we kind to get to ourselves and really try to unplug as much as we can.

And so this show today sort of begins all of that for me. You all are kind to let me do that and have that opportunity.

I certainly appreciate that. And the fact that I'm on vacation is not the only thing about this week that I enjoy.

You know, moments like this during the summer when we're ahead of SEC media days,

certainly ahead of the start of fall training camp and all of those

types of things. It gives us a chance to take a little bit of a snapshot of the prevailing

storylines about Georgia. You all know, I've said before, I'm a talker for a living. So is that,

therefore, in this time of the year that we kind of think of as talking season, well, of course,

I'm going to enjoy the talking

season time of the year and paying attention to the storylines that are getting the most attention,

sometimes acknowledging storylines that are maybe not getting enough attention. And we just like doing

that. It's kind of a fun time to do all of that. And so that's sort of what we're doing

right now here today. And I want to kick

this week off with what I think is a little bit of a surprise for me in terms of what we have
