Summary

Lauria Jaylene Bible and Ashley Renae Freeman disappeared between the evening of December 29 and the early morning hours of December 30, 1999, from Ashley's home in Welch, Oklahoma after a fire burnt the Freeman home to the ground. It's been 23 years and Ashley and Lauria have never been seen or heard from again.

0:09.1	It was December 29, 1999, when best friends Laura Bible and Ashley Freeman were having a sleepover for Ashley 16th birthday at her parents home in Welch, Oklahoma.
0:36.8	And the early morning hours of December 30, firefighters were called to the Freeman's home due to a fire being reported.
0:46.8	When they arrived on scene, what they witnessed was horrific. Not only had the fire ravaged the Freeman home, but inside rescuers located the bodies of Ashley's parents, Danny and Kathy Freeman.
1:01.8	Both had been fatally shot in the head by a shotgun before the fire was deliberately started.
1:10.8	Worse yet Ashley and Laura were nowhere to be found.
1:15.8	Oh my gosh.
1:17.8	And interestingly, it was actually the Bibles like Laura's parents that found Danny the father.
1:26.8	Oh my gosh.
1:27.8	After the crime scene had been released. So when the investigators first did their investigation of the property to try to figure out if anyone was inside and like if the fire was intentional or not, they only found Kathy, Ashley's mother.
1:44.8	And it wasn't until Laura's parents went back to try to find anything they could that can maybe lead them to where their daughter was is when they discovered Kathy.
1:59.8	Wow.
2:00.8	Crazy.
2:02.8	Yeah.
2:03.8	Wow.
2:04.8	The police.
2:05.8	Why would I look at that?
2:07.8	Yeah. Why was that?
2:08.8	And they were not discovered by police. That's kind of scary.
2:11.8	I don't know. I mean, she was burnt beyond recognition, but even still, I don't know.
2:18.8	But it's coming in crime scene. Like I think you want to like go through all of the rubble and everything before releasing it.
2:26.8	Like even if it takes more time and you have to like keep it closed off for longer, like.
