Summary

Oakley Carlson returned to the care of her biological parents after being in a loving foster home and despite them both having legal charges against them. Despite her former foster mom raising many red flags, she remained with Andrew Carlson and Jordan Bowers. She has not been seen since February 2021, and no one knows where she is.

0:06.0	Okay, everybody today is going to be this is a rough story and I bet a lot of you have likely
0:33.2	heard at least something about the case or the name Oakley Carlson because it's kind of been ongoing.
0:42.3	And I was hesitant to cover this for a while because there's like constantly new information coming out,
0:50.0	but it kind of is at like more or less of a standstill right now. So I wanted to cover it and then hopefully one day soon
0:57.2	we'll be able to do an update. Yeah. So this is the disappearance of Oakley Carlson.
1:04.2	Oakley was born on December 6, 2016 and for the first almost year of her life she was with her biological parents.
1:12.8	In August 2017, then one year old Oakley started living with foster parents, Erica and Jamie Joe Hiles.
1:20.7	She lived with them for two years until they were contacted in October 2019 that Oakley would be
1:27.2	returning to her biological parents care. In November 2019, Oakley went back to living with her
1:34.3	parents, Andrew Carlson and Jordan Bowers. It's going to be so tough. I know and it's very confusing
1:43.1	why she went back to living with her biological parents. If they tick those boxes, that's all the court
1:50.2	cares about honestly, but they almost don't. So in July 2018, Andrew Carlson was charged with
1:57.7	assault for four attacks on Jordan Bowers, but he was ordered by the court to quote, obtain a
2:04.2	domestic violence evaluation within 90 days of release and enter and successfully complete the
2:10.3	recommended treatment program. And I guess he did that. But he actually didn't because in May 2019,
2:18.8	after this 90 days, he failed to complete it and went back to court for related hearings throughout
2:25.6	the summer. Now this was a couple months after Oakley had a supervised visit with her biological
2:31.9	parents on March 7, 2019. Reportedly when she went home from this visit, it was a two hour long
2:39.0	visit. She went home to her foster parents. Her diaper had not been changed during the entire
2:44.4	two hour visit. Wow. She also had red marks like scratches on her cheeks. Jamie Jo asked Brenda the
2:54.1	visit supervisor what happened and Brenda said she didn't know. And there are documented pictures
