Our last episode, which was our debut of our deep cut dive series featuring trapped under ice it was such a smash hit

it was i'm told reports have have likened it to beatlemania in the early 60s in america and uh that's kind of

the equivalent of the podcast world right and so i mean we didn't really have a. It was basically either do another deep cut dives or be publicly killed.

And so I got a daughter, you've got a wife, we've got lives to live.

We can't really let the, we can't really have that.

So we were like, okay, well, we'll do more episodes of this caliber.

Here are the actual, actual options. Do another deep cut dive or retire.

Not just the podcast, like just everything in life, like sell all of our gear. We're just done.

Music is no longer a part of our lives. We were in a windowless room, a gray indiscreet room from

Terry Gilliams, Brazil. And they basically said, if you're not going to,

if you're not willing to do another deep cut dive, you're going to have to go away and never come back

for a long time. So, I mean, none of those things were very tenable for either of us. So we were like,

well, let's just do another deep cut dives. Yeah, I mean, that seems to make the most sense. No pressure, but let's just do another one of these.

So we're going to do murder one.

I thought it would be fun to jump from 1984 to 2016, the last effort by the boys.
