Summary

In the high desert of Utah, there’s a 10,000-square-foot house that’s considered an architectural masterpiece, constructed to seamlessly blend into the rocky landscape, as if rising from the ground.

While the intent was to maximize the views of the Red Mountain Wilderness, it’s also a stark-looking home. Its brutalist architecture making it appear more like a compound, a place made to keep people inside.

And it seemed it had…when on the morning of August 30th, 2023, a 12-year-old boy climbed out one of the windows to make an escape.
