We spent a long time in the Pacific, but we finally caught up.

America entering the war is no insignificant footnote, though.

So this episode is devoted just to sort of explaining where America is in early 1942.

Sort of like how I had an All Things Soviet Union episode a while back, this is kind of an

American grabback episode.

I talk about America's mindset, where the military is, and the origins of the Manhattan

project.
