What? You're not going all out for Valentine's.

Oh no, Pam and I were actually just laughing the other night about Valentine's and all the disasters that have happened on Valentine's Day in our marriage.

Mainly being my mess-ups on trying to do what I think she would enjoy for Valentine's Day early

in our marriage.

Like I was a stuffed animal giver when we were first married and my wife hates stuffed animals.

But she didn't have the heart to say anything.

And so I just continued on, you know, a couple years in a row, you know, all these nice little

Vermont teddy bears or all these little things that just end up being, she's like,

what? And so she kept saying, and it cracks us up now because she looks back on it.

She's like, she just kept saying, my dad would always just bring a small little box of chocolates,

you know, and I was like, and so I was always, I'm not your dad, you know, I'm like and so I was always I'm not your dad you know I'm always

competing is where I was at least back then I didn't want to do what he did and all

that kind of stuff and then I start bringing chocolate and then I hear but I'm trying to lose some weight and I'm like

Oh gosh come on That's pretty funny you know my twins were born on February 15th and my husband's

birthday is February 16th. So February 14th pretty much goes unnoticed.

It gets no big deal. It gets rolled over and passed. Yeah, we just catch it two what three weeks later on the anniversary.

Yeah, Valentine's has evolved to a hey happy Valentine's Day, I mean that's kind of really what it is for us

well we don't really do much yeah you don't share it I like because, you know, I'm a words of affirmation girl.
