Really, really good stuff on today's show, including later on an interview with the former Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm, which I had a chance to record yesterday.

We got into a lot of quarterback topics with Jake, our first time having him on for a couple of weeks because of our Dog Nation crews last week.

And I think you're going to really like this deep dive on kind of what we saw from Carson on G day, what's going on Gunner Stockton, and a little bit on Jayden Rashada.

You're going to like all of that here coming up in just a little bit.

Speaking of Rashada, I want to begin with him here today because I think we're continuing to sort of unpack the reasoning behind a quarterback like this,

I would say of a certain magnitude.

A lot of our audience obviously feels like they know a good bit about Jaden because of the high-profile nature of his recruitment.

The fact that as a brand new incoming freshmen started a couple of games began last season there at Arizona State,

and all of a sudden now, after kind of having been starter level player,

a major recruit, now seemingly content to come here and sort of buy his time at Georgia,

showing some of the patients perhaps that Carson Beck was willing to show before him

here at UGA for the chance to maybe one day start.

And all of this, we would say, is kind of fascinating. What we've said before is that if Carson Beck was showing

you how successful patients could make a man, maybe Jaden Rashada doesn't want to do that. And if

Rashada is willing to do that, it also perhaps displays and demonstrates something about him that his

head is screwed on exactly the way that it should be as he moves into some sort of pivotal years
