So at the end of the show today, if you can stick with us for the full thing, I'm going to show what may be one of my favorite golden shoes in a very long time, if not ever. So something I'm incredibly proud of. I'll tell you more about this later on. I know that's a little bit of a weird tease for the full length of the show. But I do think if you can stick around today, we're going to have a really good time with that. Speaking of having some fun, I want to do that here as well to kick things off here today because there was a thing that I sort of stumbled across. You know how like people are just sort of scrolling on their phones doing stuff like that. And when we were on our Dog Nation cruise last week, I sort of stumbled across and thought, gosh, I didn't see this at the time. This is kind of interesting. And interesting enough that I wanted to make sure we showed that on the show at some point in time here in the week that I returned.

So this feels like a really good day to do that.

It was the interview that Kirby Smart gave on, I almost said on TV, but as you know, the game wasn't on TV.

It was on streaming internet.

But it was the interview that Kirby Smart gave with the broadcasters during the broadcast

of the G-Day game a couple of Saturdays ago.

And what I love about this is two things, is that, A, it's a little bit of a jab.

Maybe you can certainly interpret it that way between Kirby Smart and some of his coaching colleagues, which is always kind of interesting.

But it also is very much in kind of furtherance of a topic that I thought was, you know, pretty interesting leading into G-Day there as well about stuff that we liked about G-Day that made G-Day different from other spring games.

And it's always kind of fun when something that Kirby says reflects something that we've been

saying for a while around here on the show.

So I thought that was sort of very fertile soil for discussion for us here today.

Kirby Smart sort of talking about what makes the Georgia Spring game, which we call G-Day,

different from a lot of others

and a lot of other coaches who seem to favor, you know, pie eating contests or, you know, two-hand

touch or Red Rover or whatever it is they're playing here these days. Kirby Smart seems to like

his brand of the sport a lot better than some of the other brands of the sport that are out there
