Here's your host, Brandon Adams. I find Carson Beck to be such a fascinating figure

for Georgia this upcoming season, just simply because in the Kirby Smart Era, and this isn't a good

thing or a bad thing, in fact, in many cases, for Georgia's worked out to be a good thing. But in the

Kirby Smart Era, we just haven't very frequently seen Georgia be a very heavily quarterback-led team.

George has been fortunate to have a good quarterback play.

You probably can't be a good team if you don't.

But in terms of the quarterback being the unmistakable face of the franchise, to use a phrase

we probably use with professional sports, more often with college, but that sort of unmistakable face of the program, to use a phrase we probably use with professional sports, more often

seeing that be the quarterback at Georgia very much. That's because Georgia has always had great

defense. That's because Georgia in many years has been known as RBU. It's not always been quarterback for whom that's been the case, but it probably is this year.

And I think it gives Georgia a chance to achieve an incredible level of success.

Obviously, national championship is the goal.

And for Carson Beck himself, incredible individual success.

We saw Steads admit it become a Heisman finalist in 2022, the first time that it happened for Georgia since 1992.

And we believe that Beck has a very reasonable chance of doing even more than that.

Not only could he be a Heisman finalist, but he could actually win the award.

And, you know, Bennett went on to be a second round pick, which for Georgia quarterbacks in most years,

actually a pretty good level of draft success.
