I thought that really one of the most fun things about G-Day a couple of Saturdays ago was the way in which it confirmed some of the things we've been hearing during spring practice. And one of the things we talked about on our Dog Nation Post game showing that particular Saturday was, hey, we heard about Colby Young, you know, being a weapon in the red zone and being an important target. and despite the fact I think you only had three catches during G day, two of them were

really very significant and kind of showcase the long body and the penchant for just

going and getting the football that it made Colby one of the most talked about players

during spring practice.

And I thought that was really fun.

I mean, for a multitude of reasons, receiver was probably the position that was

talked about the most for Georgia in these types of conversations in media or fans on social media

or just Georgia fans kind of getting together for like a pregame tailgate or something like that.

There was probably as much talk about wide receiver as perhaps any other

position, more so in most cases. And when Kirby Smart got his turn at all of this, he gave that

group, I think, a really interesting compliment. The question was about Colby Young, the name I

mentioned a moment ago. But in talking about Young, Kirby gave the kind of compliment of receivers that you sometimes don't always hear.

I thought this was pretty compelling.

Well, the first of the foremost, I think all across the board, our wideouts, maybe our best

leadership group.

Like, they have some really good core leaders.

Well, he has integrated himself into that room really well.
