We are going to talk a lot today about the quarterback position.

You know, you never want to try to do too much of one thing, But obviously, if you're ever going to overdo it in any one spot, quarterback probably a pretty fun position to do that with. So some of this related to what we might see on G-Day on Saturday. In fact, that comes up a few minutes from now. Some of this also related to the continuing, I guess, saga going on with

UGA recruiting, in particular the quarterback position playing a pivotal role in that 2025 class.

So let's spend a couple of minutes on this and then want to transition after that to some very

interesting notes that came out of Georgia's second scrimmage behind closed doors there on Saturday.

But to begin with, the last time we spoke here on this program, we were reacting to the fact that Matt Zollars, a four-star quarterback from Pennsylvania, had chosen, I should say, Missouri

over Georgia in his commitment ceremony there on Thursday.

And what we were trying to figure at the time was,

okay, well, what does this mean? Because there were some Georgia fans that obviously liked Zollars.

Georgia certainly had given Zollars the benefit of a visit and seemed to roll out the red carpet

for him pretty well. And so the question we were all trying to sift through is, you know,

what does it mean that Georgia seemingly was showing interest in Zollars? And ultimately that Zollars chose Missouri, like, where did

that leave Georgia? And on our show on Friday, our recruiting insider Jeff Sintel gave us a

pretty forceful statement that no matter how much you may have seen the talk and the chat are about Zollars and other

quarterbacks that will also get to here in a moment, there is, as Jeff believes, a top priority for Georgia in this 2025 class.

And his words were unmistakable on Friday show.
