Hello again, everybody, and welcome to another exciting episode of the Jim Cornette Experience.

0:22.3

I'm still Jim Cornette, so far, things are going well, but today, a special show for

0:28.2

all you wrestling nerds out there. We're going to not only talk about January 1989, as we promise

0:35.6

last week, but in effect, the year that led up to it. How did Crockett handle the fact that he knew

0:42.1

all of a sudden he was in a hole? How did Dusty respond with his booking? All these things and more

0:48.4

explored with the ultimate wrestling savant. That's a nice word for nerd in this usage. Ladies

1:01.4

1:40.5

talk about a couple of other things also. But at first, we don't want to start off on a down note,

1:47.1

but a lot of people have heard on Twitter over the last few days, it happened this past weekend.

1:52.2

And a lot of people that have been following the show for quite some time know that

1:57.1

Maul Bowlin, Starmaker Bowlin's mother, her name was Marie. So Maul actually wasn't even a

2:03.1

stretch and an abbreviation there. But she passed away this past weekend. I think she was 78.

2:10.6

And of course, not only when that news came out, everybody was asking about it. If Kenny had

2:16.0

talked, we'll talk about that in a second. But some people wanted to, because long time listeners,

2:22.2

the show know that Kenny Bowlin has a colorful family. And they have a lot of colorful stories.
