Hello again, everybody, and happy new year. Welcome to the first edition of the Jim

Cornette Experience of 2018. I'm still Jim Cornette, I think. And today on the

program, we're going to talk about our holidays, other people's holidays, all kinds of

holidays, and a look back 30 years in the past, via the time machine, as we go back to

January 1988 and see what was happening when wrestling was still wrestling. And right

now to join me in the inaugural edition of the New Year's Experience, none other than

Hawaiian, Brian, the podcasting lion, the King of the Arcadian Vanguard Network. He's

Mr. co-host to you, folks, it's the post office playboy himself, the great Brian last,

Brian happy new year, happy new year, Jim Oloha, and I hope you had a Merry Christmas,

or as we say on the island, Melik Leaky Mucker, and it's great to be back here once again

on the experience. Well, Melik, you do, and you'll clean it up. I'll tell you that. And

right now, I've got to ask you right off the top of the bat here. I've almost forgotten

how to do the fucking podcast. It's been two weeks, folks. I've almost forgotten how. But

I've got to ask you, you're a New York person. You're from the New York area. You've lived

there as I understand most all of your life in the New York metropolitan area, Jersey, New

York, et cetera, et cetera. What's the fucking deal with this time square business? What do

you want to know about it? How do you find that many insane fucking people? It was negative

seven wind chill. In Times Square, the coldest New Year's eve of New Year's rock and eve, they

say on record since they've been doing that broadcast. Of course, I only watched the ball drop,

since Dick Clark is not on anymore. And there's no fucking musical acts that you've ever

fucking heard of. But negative seven wind chill. They got out there. They stayed out there

12 hours, 14 hours, not only that, but it was all over the news, increased heightened security.
