You know, Nick Sabin's no longer the coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide anymore, but there was a phrase that he made famous that I would say is probably pretty

good life advice, no matter what you're kind of into. Sabin's thing and you know this was trust the process.

Now, what is the opposite of trust the process? The opposite of trust the process is sort of fixate on results.

And in most cases in life, it's sort of better to trust the process than to fixate on results.

I'll take a personal example here. I'm not a very good golfer. I wish that I was better.

I like golf. Golf does not always like me. And what I will tell you is, is that sometimes you can take a very bad swing and get a good result. It's just sort of random chance that you may not have any control of where the club face is going, but every now and then you may just drop it right in the right spot, boom, you get a nice shot. And you're led to believe, hey, I must be pretty good gol golfer because that shot was pretty, but ultimately you can't repeat that.

So therefore the result was good, but the process was wrong and ultimately a bad process

is going to be more meaningful over the course of the long haul than any kind of, you know,

successful result in the moment because that can be random chance.

So broadly speaking, it is better to be more interested in the process than it is the actual

results because results can be misleading.

But today, I'm going to give you an example of a situation where Georgia fans, some of them

anyway, not all, some Georgia fans are sort of fixated on the process and they're ignoring the fact that on a

fairly consistent basis, Georgia has been getting pretty good results. So a rare example may be

where results matter more than process. Now, what am I talking about? It's simply this. If I were

to ask most Georgia fans who are fairly kind of plugged into the day-to-day news around this program,

what is the one area, and by program, I mean the Georgia football program, not the program known as Dog Nation Daily, but nonetheless,
