Summary

Historical Crime Detective Jason Morrow joins us once again to tell the tale of a mysterious killer who took on the persona of a secret agent in the Summer of 1930. One of the first documented cases of a narcissistic killer engaging the media to taunt police, the tale of 3X captured the imagination of the nation. However after the killing stopped abruptly, this story was all but forgotten... until now. With similarities to the Zodiac Killer case, this is a story you have to hear. We also invite trial reporter Jen Wood from TheTrialDiaries.com to give us an update on the Seth Mazzaglia and Bryan Wayne Hulsey murder cases which she is covering. Also... some fun.

1:03.0

last week? You know, there's a story about a Christian puppeteer named Ronald Brown. The story consisted

1:10.6

of basically an online chat log. so in order to tell the story,

1:14.8

I used computer-generated voices to verbalize the chat logs.

1:18.7

The absence of any emotion or humanity in the voices of actual cannibal pedophiles,

1:27.2

combined with the horrific ideas represented in the actual things they were saying, made for a pretty spooky combination.

1:36.4

In fact, that's the exact effect I was going for.

1:39.2

So I asked Sword and Scale contributor and close personal friend, Hesuz Rodriguez, to listen to it and give me his

1:45.2

opinion. You might remember Hesus from episode 13 when he helped me make the neutral loaf from

1:51.8

scratch, or at least consume it. In fact, after he listened to it, he sent me a text saying,

1:57.3

man, I was really moved by that episode. That was done so well with the computer voices.

2:03.3

Well, I couldn't help myself.

2:11.3

Hello?

2:17.0

Hello, is this Jesus? Yeah, that's what I. Hello? Hello.

2:18.8

Is this Jesus?

Yeah, that's what is this?
