Yeah, you know, I think we talked, when we talk a big game about things like, we're going to broadcast every week, or the New York Mets are in first place, that is like a sports illustrated cover jinx every time.

Steve, how you feel about that?

I mean, I think I'm not even going to address the Mets.

I think you and I both were our usual wildly optimistic selves in figuring out how much time we would have in the first couple

weeks of the semester to sit down and record a podcast.

Yeah, this has been tough.

I mean, there's, I'm teaching two large classes at the time.

You and I both are teaching one fall one else, which I know we said this in past years on

the show, but it's so true.

I'm going to say it again, it's the greatest thing in the world teaching brand new one

else.

It's so much fun from a teaching perspective.

Office hours, well attended, energetic, engaged.

I'm not saying our upper level students aren't enthused learners of the law, but I think

they don't show it sometimes. They distribute their energies in multiple directions. How about that?

I haven't had a lot going. I mean, there really is. There's nothing quite like the enthusiasm and the bright-eyed bushy-tailedness of first semester

one else which you know is is i think 98% of good thing and 2% of tiring thing yes these things

are as any parent knows these things are closely related well and and and since i have a small group

you know we're coming up on our first writing

assignment.
