I don't know, Brianna, my question is, why are they not waiting a year to do something that

might not be 100% chance to get through the Roberts Court? But I don't know, 50-50,

whereas the thing they're doing right now is going to lose. If they really want to get debt relief,

why not take a year, extend a moratorium a year, and then get a dot their eyes and cross their

teeth and deliver debt relief? I hate to say it, Brianna. I think they're more worried about

making an announcement for November. Exactly. Of course. So when you were saying earlier about,

you know, there's a little strategy behind this and said it was, you know, not wanting to spook

Kristen Cinema. My thought was, fully, this timing has everything to do with midterms.

And frankly, some people who've been very skeptical, and I've appreciated their skepticism,

have said, don't celebrate this news. It's actually not going to happen. And that the Biden

administration, the most cynical version of this is the Biden administration is happy to have a

procedural excuse not to follow through on the policy. So they get all of the accolades

for saying they wanted to do the thing, which is only a fraction of the thing that we wanted

them to do in the first place. But also are going to be able to shrug their shoulders and go,

oh, Shucks, I really wanted to. The same way they did over $15 minimum wage at any number of

really basic, not even especially progressive policies that have been on the chopping block over

the course of the last almost two years now. It actually may be even worse than that,

because I think the calculus is. It's not just where they shrug their shoulders when it doesn't

work procedurally, but what do they think might happen? They think that the Roberts Court will

strike it down. And they created the legal mess I just talked about. And then they'll blame the

Roberts Court and look, it's the Roberts Court again. It's the Boogie Man. It's their ideological,

it's true. The Roberts Court is ideological. It's just that you serve them up ideological red meat
