Here's your host, Brandon Adams. So last night, Georgia once again, ranked atop the college football playoff, top 25.

You're not surprised by that.

By now, you've come to expect that, perhaps not just this year, but over the course

the last couple of years there as well.

However, even with Georgia once again being at number one, though, I do think there's a

pretty important takeaway as it relates to

UGA. So my kind of nightly routine on this each week when it comes out is I watch the show,

I see the rankings, and then after that we get ready to go live on the Dog Nation video channels

for a couple of minutes. Connor Riley and I did that last night. And as I'm waiting for our show to

begin, kind of just watching

the rankings take place, sort of trying to figure out who's where I thought they would be and who's

perhaps slightly different than I think they probably would have been. I'm also listening a little bit

to the chatter from the ESPN analyst. I think sometimes the tone of those discussions, I think, can be, you know,

kind of interesting. And so if you did not watch last night's top 25, by now you probably

maybe decided it's not very newsy, you know George's going to be number one. Ultimately, where

Georgia was ranked last night is perhaps not all that interesting. But the way in which Georgia got discussed

last night by the ESPN folks, I do think that's pretty interesting because the key takeaway

seemingly here is not just that Georgia is number one. You already knew that. But in the eyes of the

people who are kind of tasked with sort of setting the discussion points for the rest of college football, Georgia is now viewed to be number one with some distance here.

Georgia far ahead of the other championship contenders, perhaps that's the case, at least based on what the folks on ESPN said last night.
