A lot of you know that I have my day job here, Dog Nation Daily, presented by engineered solutions of Georgia where I talk to you each and every day about Georgia football. In addition to that, I also have a little bit of a, what do you call it, like a moonlighting thing. Is that still a phrase that people use or just sort of a little side gig. That's probably more the modern vernacular. A little bit of a side gig on Friday nights

where I do high school football this time of year. And I really enjoy the chance to do that because I do like calling games. That's something that's really fun for me. But the other thing I like about doing the high school games on Friday night, by the way, we've got a great one coming up this week. How about Carrollton against Walton and the state quarter finals?

0:53.6

What an amazing experience that's going to be.

1:25.5

and the physicality required to win is propelled by the

1:28.5

emotion of the players, the truth is apart from that and along with that, there's also a lot of

1:34.2

like logistics involved in winning a football game, especially this time of year because

1:39.5

you've got teams from North Georgia playing teams from South Georgia. And sometimes the South Georgia

1:43.3

teams are traveling north and sometimes the North Georgia teams are traveling south. And it's a lot about

1:47.5

we stay in hotels or we're going to stop and stretch our legs. That there is a lot about being a

1:53.2

good football coach. And anybody that you know is a high school football coach. And I'm very thankful

1:56.7

to count many coaches among my friends. But any high school football coach will tell you that the
