Welcome back everybody. Before we get into today's episode, I would just like to apologize

if I sit on like I'm out of breath. I am currently almost 32 weeks pregnant, and I am really

feeling out of breath when I talk about it. You are out of breath? Yeah, I am out of breath. And I know I've

gotten a couple messages like, Haley, are you okay? You sound like you're out of breath. I'm good. I just

it's just that I have a baby inside of my stomach pushing against my lungs. So I apologize if I sound

out of breath. I try to do my best to like pause and take a deep breath and then like edit that out,

but just so you guys know I am okay. I'm just very pregnant and can't breathe. All right,

today we're going to talk about a highly requested case. It's also one that you may have heard of

before. If you haven't, you're in for a wild ride. And it's I guess a little bit lighter towards

the end. So, yeah, I've been getting ahead on my research and a lot of my upcoming cases are

very heavy. So this one's kind of like a little little just a little bit lighter. Just a little bit.

Okay. On Thanksgiving day 2016, 34 year old Sherry Papini was found on the side of Country Road 17

in Yolo County, California. She had been missing since November 2nd and she had finally been freed

by her captors. Wow, what? She was injured, but she was alive. So who held her captive for three

weeks and why was she suddenly suddenly let go? The story was just getting started. Oh man. Sherry

Louise Graif was born on June 11th, 1982 and she reportedly had a bit of a troubled childhood.

She struggled growing up and when she was 18 years old, she allegedly burglarized her father's home.

Damn. Just a few years later, her mother reported to police that she believed Sherry was

harming herself and blaming her mom for her injuries. But thankfully, her life would turn around.

Sherry met Keith Papini in middle school and he was her first kiss when she was in eighth grade and

he was in seventh. So a little middle school love. Yeah. They were together and like friends in childhood,
