Hey everybody, welcome to All Have Another Podcast with Lindsay Heine.

I'm your host Lindsay, thank you so much for being here today.

Today you're listening to episode 208, and this is my live podcast recording

from the New York Roadrunners Run Center with elite runners Sarah Hall,

Helen Taylor, and Roberta Groner.

I had the opportunity to talk with all three of these women,

pre-New York City marathon, two days before the race.

It was crazy getting into the city.

I had a canceled flight and had a really whirlwind of a time

getting to the city.

I actually landed at 12.02 pm.

At LaGuardia and had to be at the run center in Manhattan by one.

Well, I walked in at 114 and we started a little bit late,

but I did the best I could to get there.

I was honored to talk to these three ladies.

Helen Taylor ended up finishing as the second American in the field

behind Des Lyndon.

Roberta Groner was the fourth American and third master.

She placed 13th overall and had a fantastic race and

unfortunately Sarah Hall was sick.
