All is right in the world today.

Georgia is number one in the college football playoff top 25.

And I think this is important for a couple of reasons. One of these is kind of a small thing.

One of these is perhaps a little bit of a big thing. So what do you say for a couple of minutes here?

We sort of look at all of this. I want to begin by doing it this way. You've heard me perhaps say this before.

That as college football fans, most of what we do is wait for games to happen. Like if you think about the sum total of a college football fan's life, it's mostly just waiting for games to take place. That's true right now. What is this? A Wednesday. We're like right in the middle of the week waiting for games again on Saturday. And in the offseason, we're waiting months and months and months for the new season to occur.

There's always sort of a waiting game being played.

And you know what we do to pass the time while we're waiting.

We make up something to argue about.

And we go into our corners and we get our facts and our evidence and we just sort of spew it on social media or shows like

this or on television, whatever else. We pass the time between Saturdays or between the months

of the offseason. We pass the time by finding something to argue about. So here is the number one

reason or the first reason, the smaller reason, why Georgia being number one on Saturday, or I should

say last night, the sort of first reason why Georgia being number one kind of matters here.

It's because the argument that's been ongoing for the last few months during the early

portion of the regular season, it's now over. It's now been decided and Georgia

fans have won it. What a lot of Georgia fans believed was there was a little bit of an artificial
