It's something I've been internally kind of fighting for for a little while here, and I finally got the green light to go ahead and do this. Obviously a lot going on around Georgia here right now.

We're covering it all on the program today. I want to begin this way, though.

You know, Saturday, one of the things that makes games like that fun,

and we talked so much

yesterday about just how positive the vibe was around Georgia football on Saturday and how much,

so much of many of us just really enjoyed it. We kind of described it as sort of an emotional

experience. And I sort of felt that way. Then you hear from Kirby Smart post game sort of feels like

he kind of had a lot of the same

kind of feelings that it just sort of seemed like a really big deal to have been in Athens on

Saturday and experience that home finale for this particular year. And one of the things that

does kind of make certain games feel a little bit bigger is the sort of media landscape around

the game. Fans care about this. What network are they playing on? The presence of ESPN's college game day. A lot of us don't like game day as much as we used to for a number of reasons. Most prominently the fact that David Pollock's no longer on there. But it's still a pretty big deal when it's on your campus and it was Saturday. That's set the stage for a really big game. And then, of course, during the game, the broadcast there on ESPN, you also had Chris Fowler and Kirk Kherb Street calling the game. These are the big announcers, right? These are the announcers to sort of designate your game as the big game around college football. The same guys, they call the college football playoff, the national championship, calling that game for Georgia and Ole Miss. And even though, you know, for some fans, the media is not always their cup of tea. There is something to be said for when the big announcers are doing your game, that means it's something sort of extra fun and sort of extra special. And so there's a little bit of an extra level of interest when you've got something like that going on. And of course, I was at the game. So not watching it live when it happened, but our producer
