Many of you know how much I love Georgia High School football, and I'm so proud of so many of the teams that we have here in our state,

kind of in the Atlanta area where I live. One of my favorites, a program called Creekside. I just

love their willingness to go play anybody, anywhere, anytime. There's a very tough brand of

football player that comes from that Creekside program, coached by Maurice Dixon. I'm always thrilled anytime I get a chance to broadcast a Creekside game on television on Peach Street TV with my friend Rusty Mansell because Creekside always puts on a really good show. I just have a lot of respect for them and their players. And one of the guys they have this year is a terrific defensive lineman. He is a giant of a man. His name is

Mackay Boyro. And in the case of Borro, you know, you're talking about a guy that's about 360 pounds,

you know, kind of that classic noseguard, space eating defensive lineman, kind of a one-man

run-stopping machine. And when he comes, you know, from a state like

Georgia, a state that I love, high school football in, a program that I respect, I'm not going to lie to you. I really wanted Boreau to come to Georgia. I really wanted Boreau to be a part of this Georgia program. But credit to the program down south, we don't like very much, those lousy, stinking gaiters, lousy stinking gators lousy stinking gaiters came into

they won that battle they got that commitment and sometimes you have to admit hey you can't

get every player that you want sometimes you wish you could but you can't always. Even the lousy

stinking gators every now and then, they're going to win a recruiting battle. But what we also

know is, is that Georgia doesn't take no very easily. Georgia doesn't just sit back and

wave the white flag when it doesn't quite get the recruiting win that it wants to get. Oftentimes,

that makes Georgia fight even harder. In fact, last night on Before the Edge is presented by Kroger,

a recruiting show hosted by Jeff Sindell here on the Dog Nation video channels, Mackay Boyro,
