So we know that Kirby Smart has said in the offseason kind of leading

into the start of this year that his number one concern for Georgia was complacency, battling

against the idea that Georgia just wouldn't be as focused and motivated as it could possibly be

for each of the games that to play. Smart has said that plenty over and over and over again.

And as Georgia gets ready to begin SEC play on Saturday, you're led to believe that

Smart's going to pull out all the stops to make sure Georgia absolutely is as focused as it

can be.

The Georgia fans in the stadium are absolutely as focused as they can be there as well.

That's what the Tonka Hemingway stuff has seemingly been about this week.

We've kind of laughed about this. That Hemingway stuff has seemingly been about this week. We've kind of

laughed about this. That Hemingway at SEC Media Days, what he said about Georgia wasn't, he didn't

say anything about Georgia, right? He was asked a question of, hey, what are the best environments in the

SEC? Hemingway mentioned a couple. Georgia wasn't one of the places that he mentioned.

And somehow that's been turned into

bulletin board material for UGA. It's a pretty big stretch, to be honest with you, but all is

fair in the SEC. To me, that sort of feels like an example of Kirby Smart trying to use anything

possible at his disposal to make the environment with his team and his fans and everything else
