Well, welcome to the second recording of Gleeman and the Gee. How did you like the introductory music, Aaron? It was fantastic. One of the best songs I've ever heard. Actually, there isn't the introductory music yet. I worked on one, and it's based on Binky and the Brain, the theme song for Binky and the Brain. Only I changed the words to Gleeman and the Geek. So I'm Binky and you're the brain. Is that the game? Exactly right.

0:23.3

Okay.

0:23.8

I make a chance. in the brain, the theme song for Binky and the Brain, only I changed the words to Gleeman and the geek.

0:20.9

So I'm Binky and you're the brain? Is that the Binky? Well, exactly right. It makes sense. That follows. But it did not turn out particularly well. But if we don't get a theme song soon, I'm going to subject our listeners to it on a weekly basis until somebody makes us a better theme song. Yeah, which is our way of saying, please make us a better theme sign.

And also, we could use a nice logo, too, just for the iTunes setup and just the website in general. Did you see what I used? I did, yeah, I like that. Pop and Red? I like that. Although I will say if somebody out there with some design skills, which I do not have, and I'm assuming you do not have, No. If anybody out there wants to work something up for us, I'm sure we could come up with some sort of reward for it that's made it worthwhile. I think that's a good idea. Yeah, we'll come up with some kind of reward. I'm absolutely, I think, you know, something with the state of Minnesota and a beer and a baseball, that would just about cover all the bases for us. Yeah, that works. There's some kind of combination there. And then the other stuff we want to mention before we get going is we created a Twitter account, which is just Gleeman and Geek, one word. So sign up for that. If you want updates on the podcast specific instead of just, you know, our random musings complaining about the twins every night. And you can now find us on iTunes.

1:28.4

Just go there and go to the podcast area and search on gleaming.

1:32.2

And we will come up, which is fun to see.

1:35.3

We want to thank everybody for listening.

1:36.5

We got 2,500 downloads, something like that last week.

1:40.5

And mostly positive feedback.

1:42.1

Actually, almost all positive feedback, which as somebody who's been

1:45.1

blogging for a decade now almost, I don't know what to do with that. Especially after I've seen your comments section on a regular basis. It completely threw me off guard. I had no response set up for that. I don't think I've ever seen your comment section so overflowingly positive as it was after our podcast. Yeah, so don't be so nice this week, even if it's a better podcast, please, because it really freaks me out.

2:03.6

All right, so don't be so nice this week, even if it's a better podcast, please, because it really

2:02.3

freaks me out.

2:03.5

All right, so have we covered all the homework that we got to do?

2:07.9

Let's go to worse subjects, more dry, terrible subjects.

2:13.7

Let's talk about the twins and the week that was.

2:17.2

I thought we were going to hit bottom in a series versus the Yankees.

2:21.1

But the truth is, I'm more depressed about the series versus the Orioles than I ever was about losing three out of four to the Yankees.

2:27.7

Yeah, I mean, they're the worst team in the league, pretty clearly, the Orioles.

2:32.3

Right.

2:33.3

I mean, it's not like football where you're expected to always beat the worst team in the league.
