Good morning, my friends, and welcome to the Increase Your Impact podcast. Justin Suitt here,

episode 1,7001. Today we're talking about the importance of surrounding yourself with people who will

expose you to your blind spots. Now, there's something called the Jihari window, which essentially

states that there are things that you know that other people don't.

There are things that other people know about you that you don't know.

Now, one of the important things about knowing that is that you want to be exposed to those

things that other people know, but you are not aware of. Has this ever happened to you where

you go home after being out with friends and you look in the mirror and you have something,

food stuck on your teeth or something on your face and you're thinking yourself, why didn't

anybody tell me that I had food on my teeth? That's exactly what it's like when we have certain things, certain behaviors we do,

certain character flaws that we have that we would more than be happy to change if we only

knew about it.

But people around us might be afraid to give us that feedback.

So you want to surround yourself with people who will

help you point out those things about you, those blind spots that you might have. And so if you have a

friend or family member who you trust, today my invitation to you is to go up to them and ask them,

hey, is there anything that I might not know about myself that I can change, I could

adjust, I could do more of, I could she do less of, and be humble about it because what they tell

you might not be easy to digest at first, but if you truly know that the other person has your

best interest in mind, you will

know that at the end of the day, they're trying to help you rather than hurt you.
