who asked a question that I actually hear all the time. He said, how do I control my negative

thoughts? How do I stop the doubt from just popping up out of nowhere?

And I returned the question with a question.

I said, have you ever been driving when it starts pouring rain?

And I asked them, do you get mad at the sky?

Do you yell at the clouds?

Do you try to control the weather?

And obviously the answer is no.

What do you do? You turn on your windshield wipers
