What if I told you that the biggest reason you don't follow through isn't laziness?

0:06.1

It's not like a motivation or even your lack of discipline.

It's that your system is invisible.

Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact Podcast.

I'm Justin Sua, episode 2,210.

I recently heard of a story about a neighborhood near Amsterdam. This is way back in the

0:22.9

1970s. These construction workers built the same houses and the same size families were living in

1:51.1

every single day they walked past that energy meter. And so the lesson is actually really simple.

1:57.9

The best symbols, I'm sorry, the best systems are the ones you see every day.

2:04.1

They're the ones you trip over. We're human. We're going to forget. And so it's important to stop

2:10.4

relying on our memory and our willpower, thinking that we're always going to remember it.

2:14.4

We're always going to have willpower and we're going to be able to grind
