Good morning and welcome to the Increase Your Impact Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 2197. As many of you know,

0:07.3

I am a sucker for really good questions. I just love questions that cause people to pause to think.

0:17.8

And just yesterday, actually, somebody asked me a question that really lit me up he goes

0:23.5

Justin you're in the business of asking questions what are some of your favorite questions that

0:29.1

you like to ask athletes and coaches and I had never been asked that before what are some of my

0:35.0

favorite questions and I had never really paused to think about it,

0:40.7

but there are some that I go to all the time. And here are the questions that I told this person.

0:48.7

experts in their domain. And so one question I love to ask is, what is something that you used to

1:28.9

competent. However, I'm grateful for the opportunity to be able to sit in a space and provide a

1:33.7

space where they can be vulnerable and open and transparent and share with me and with

1:40.4

themselves to articulate some of the things that they do fear and they do worry about.

1:45.6

And we don't just stop there. We talk about what they do to manage those fears, to manage the stress,

1:53.2

to manage the weaknesses and insecurities because they've all created some kind of system

1:58.4

in order to mitigate and create safety margins for those

2:02.0

things so that they can perform at a really high level.
