Good morning and welcome to the Increase Reimpaq Podcast. I'm Justin Sua, episode 21002. Today we're going to talk about something that doesn't get talked about enough as a leader. And eventually every leader feels this. It's the burden of being believed too quickly. When you're the leader, a lot of people, they don't just

listen to your ideas. They often adopt them without question. And they'll do that without

fully agreeing to what you're saying because you are the leader, you are in charge, you carry the

title. And a lot of people don't want to rock the boat. And at first as a leader, it feels good.

People are just agreeing with me. Then this illusion of alignment creeps in. People nod.

They say, sounds good or sounds great. and then the meeting moves on or they go and they execute.

But then over time, if you pay attention, you'll notice some silence. You'll notice a quick agreement.

You'll notice a lack of dissent. and then it'll start to feel a little off

and that's because it often doesn't mean we're with you it means we've stopped offering what we really

think that is not agreement that is not alignment that's actually disengagement. It might be fear.

And it could create this loneliness and these blind spots and your leadership.

As a leader, your influence is powerful. But power can unintentionally quiet the voices of the people that you need to hear the most.

You can't afford to be the only thinker in the room.

Because the moment your team stops pushing back, the moment they stop questioning you,
