Last week, my wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. And one of the things that we did is we went horseback riding on the beach.

It was an awesome experience and we had an instructor take us along the

shore and we were going through the waters and it was really neat. Now the wind picked up and it

blew my wife's hat off. We were going and we were going and we let our instructor know that,

hey, the hat's, the wind took my wife's hat. And the instructor's like, oh, that's no problem.

Let's go back to get it. I thought, okay, great, sounds good. Let's go back to get it.

You know who is not having that idea was my

horse and so as our instructor our guide was was saying okay let's go back my horse just stopped

and i started doing what he told me to do i started kicking the horse and saying yeah and trying to

get it to go and it wasn't budging.

And he's like, okay, well, pull the reins this way.

I pulled the reins and he wasn't moving.

In fact, he did the opposite.

He started to walk in the way, the opposite direction of where we wanted to go.

And it was so uncomfortable for me riding this horse because he was asserting his power over me.

There was nothing that I could do.

And I thought, I better just listen to this horse because he can do whatever he wants.

And the more I tried to get him to go where I wanted to go, he dominated me.

And we ended up telling the instructor, my wife as well, we're like, hey, forget the hat.

It's okay.

We're not going to go back.
