Hello and welcome back to another episode of the Year of Pallagamy Podcast. I'm your host, Lindsay,

and I'm happy to be with y'all again. I actually have a few episodes scheduled this year.

As you know, I just podcast now when I have time to do this. It's not something I do for a job. I've got

full-time job and then a bunch of consulting jobs and I'm a single mom and raising my kids.

And I'm just, I've got a very busy life. And pretty soon I'll do an update on my life and

the podcast coming up. I'm going to have my friend Sarah Burlingame,

who has interviewed me before on my personal thoughts and feelings on the subject of polygamy

and the podcast. That'll be coming up soon. And next episode, I've got Christina Rosetti

talking about her book with Joseph Musser. Today is going to be a heavy podcast, a heavy topic, but one that's important to me. I've been

working with several attorneys for a while now who are experts on sex abuse in the Mormon

church. And, you know, as I've been doing this podcast since 2014 and blogging since around 2008, 2009. It's put me in a

position to have a platform. There's a lot of darkness and shadow sides in Mormonism, and my

podcast touches on a lot of that. Because of that, it, you know, attracts a lot of people who have

been affected by things like abuse. And so over the last

10 or 15 years, I've talked to hundreds and hundreds of people who have been victimized in

one way or another, usually by sexual abuse, by someone in their ward or in their family, and

didn't receive justice

in the church. So we're going to be talking about that today. I've got one of my good friends,

Tim Koznav. He is a, he is one of, I would say, one of the expert lawyers working in this field.

He has an insane list of credentials on the topic, including being responsible for helping

take down the Boy Scouts of
